The contest continues until only two wrestlers remain, and then the first to gain submission over the other is the winner.
This style of match can become a real test of endurance, since a wrestler who continues to win will become more and more exhausted from continual wrestling, while his opponents are getting regular rest breaks while they are in the line. This can be dangerous because if they are weakened to the point where they submit and feel they do not have the strength to rejoin the line, they are out of the contest after only one submission.
It is important to remember that once a wrestler is out of the contest, either by choice or by number of submissions, they cannot rejoin again even after they have recovered their energy.
Spoils for this kind of bout can include the actual winner gaining a forfeit of his choice over the first wrestler to be eliminated from the contest. This can have an interesting psychological effect on the first one out as they will have to sit and watch the entire contest to see who their tormentor in this forfeit will be. Another idea is to have a random number selected either before/after the match, and the person whose order of elimination matches that number is then gang-wrestled by the others.
