Have done strap matches and always wanted to do a chain match. One buddy talked of handcuffing out left hands together or wrapping a rope around our waists with only about a foot of leeway and fighting until one of us could no longer defend our self.
It's based on the old mid west fights to settle a score tied at wrist with very small knifes in other hand to fight to the finish obviously now the knife is banned and the two rivals fight and can use the rope
Yes, thatʼs it mate. A chain or rope between wrist straps or collars. Keeps the wrestlers close in together, stops guys endlessly dancing around the ring to stay out of trouble, and makes for action-filled matches.
There's no training necessary for a collar or bullrope match. But everybody had a first one. The crucial component is finding a like minded man, and establishing an understanding.

Well, in most types of wrestling thatʼs against the rules, but yeah, thatʼs pretty common.
