The full Nelson is awasome, is my favorite hold.

I love it too. Especially when I also have my legs wrapped around guy.

i prefer a double reverse leg grapevine, because it automatically adds the scissors. then he's trapped in a triple combination hold with zero chance of escape.

it's my favorite hold, too. no one has ever broken mine, and i've locked it on some very muscular guys.

I guarantee you I'd break out of your full nelson. Will you break out mine? The answer is NO. My full nelson is legendary.

A lifted full nelson is one of the hottest holds ever, especially when the size difference still allows the full pressure to be applied while suspended.

Some moves/hold are just naturally size dependent, and the Full Nelson is chief among them. That's the only time its worth watching, and the only time I give it any credit. The reverse is just too awkward and clumsy to be entertaining as far as I'm concerned.

Agree, tho also love to see it used by 2 equal sized dudes and it cranked on so hard it forces the one dude to his knees and the other dude is still standing behind him with his upper body flexed to the max as he continues to crank on the nelson. Awesome display of power and domination ;)

Everybody likes those victories. But if I could chose I would take the battles that are a lot closer where the two are virtually equal in strength and endurance.

That way the person being nelson is highly resistant and even capable of breaking free of the hold. That's what causes the adrenaline rush that fuels the experience. The victory comes only after a long and hard-fought enduring struggle by a worthy opponent.

Its that sensation of finally overcoming an as strong and resistant opponent that result in the greatest amount of satisfaction. Especially when it takes that maximum flex of power to finally overcome and submit them.

Oh for sure man, totally agree an almost equally matched opponent who can give a nice long strong battle is the best! Guess I just haven't been lucky enough to find someone who can handle my nelson for more than a few minutes and make me go to maximum power ;)
